Mortal Kombat 11 is set to release in 2 days and there's definitely a lot of hype surrounding it. But we will talk about that game in the upcoming months. This time, we are focusing on Street Fighter V. Yes, the 3-year-old game that will be free to play for 2 whole weeks.
From Tuesday April 23 to May 5, you'll be able to experience every mode from the game's Arcade Edition. With 20 characters at disposal (16 standard and 4 DLC), I am pretty sure this is one of the best ways to test Street Fighter V if you haven't done it yet. Or simply check out the DLC characters if you own the game but haven't purchased them.
Well then, are you gonna join the fight? While not a huge fan of the genre myself (plus I personally prefer the 4th installment), I gotta admit that I might just give it a try. When SFV was first released, it was criticized for various reasons, including the overall lack of content, issues when playing online, abundance of microtransactions, and the simple fact that it failed to be entertaining.
But now, it seems that it's finally "packed" with all the stuff it should've had from day one, plus it's apparently a more polished experience overall. So, why not *give Street Fighter V a go this Tuesday?
*Street Fighter V can be a very competitive (and fast paced) game and if you're not a fan of gamepads, playing it with the GMMK + Gateron Reds bundle is recommended.Comments
