Our favorite time of year has finally arrived! The renowned Steam Summer Sale is now live until July 8th, 2021, at 10 AM PST. This massive sale is the perfect time to pick up some of the most popular PC games, both new and old. This article will break down our team's top 15 picks for this year's sale. Who knows? This list is is no particular order, and the games span multiple genres. We polled our team here at Glorious on what they love to play, and everyone was so eager to contribute their favorite titles. Let's get to the list!

Fun Fact: Multiple members of our marketing team actively play FFXIV. Maybe one day, we will stream it on our official Twitch channel if you guys want!

 

"Hades is a god-like rogue-like dungeon crawler that combines the best aspects of Supergiant's critically acclaimed titles, including the fast-paced action of Bastion, the rich atmosphere and depth of Transistor, and the character-driven storytelling of Pyre."

Fun Fact: A member of the Glorious Customer Support staff cannot get enough of Hades! From the gorgeous visuals to the insane combat, he says this is a must-play. He also recommends Transistor and Bastion to scratch that itch after finishing this excellent game.

 

"Dynamic seasons change everything at the world's greatest automotive festival. Go it alone or team up with others to explore beautiful and historic Britain in a shared open world. Collect, modify and drive over 450 cars. Race, stunt, create and explore – choose your own path to become a Horizon Superstar."

Fun Fact: A member of our fantastic customer service team "super recommends" this game if you like racers.

Among Us

"Play with 4-15 player online or via local WiFi as you attempt to prepare your spaceship for departure, but beware as one or more random players among the Crew are Impostors bent on killing everyone! Originally created as a party game, we recommend playing with friends at a LAN party or online using voice chat. Enjoy cross-platform play between Android, iOS and PC."

Fun Fact: Every so often, the Glorious team will host Among Us games in our Discord with community members. Be sure to join our fast-growing server to participate in the next game night!

Fun Fact: This is a phenomenal game to test out a mechanical keyboard and gaming mouse due to Halo's high-intensity gameplay. Pairing this title with a Model O Wireless will have you winning SWAT matches with ease.

Fun Fact: Our VP of Marketing started playing Valheim on a Glorious stream and could not put it down! This surprise indie gem became a quick favorite of his.

 

"Minit is a peculiar little adventure played sixty seconds at a time. Journey outside the comfort of your home to help unusual folk, uncover countless secrets, and overcome dangerous foes, all in hopes of lifting a rather unfortunate curse that ends each day after just one minute. Minit is a collaboration between Kitty Calis, Jan Willem Nijman, Jukio Kallio & Dominik Johann."

Fun Fact: Our UX/UI/QA Specialist has nearly completed all of Minit's achievements! She commented on its "super quick and satisfying" nature. It sounds like you should take a minute to play Minit!

Hatoful Boyfriend

Fun Fact: Our Community Management Associate has over 100 hours invested into this surprisingly heavy visual novel. "It has pigeons - what else could you need?"

Fun Fact: Our Founder and CEO, Shazim, is an avid fan of 2K21! Do you have what it takes to take on our fearless leader 1v1?

 

"Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer (4vs1) horror game where one player takes on the role of the savage Killer, and the other four players play as Survivors, trying to escape the Killer and avoid being caught, tortured and killed. Survivors play in third-person and have the advantage of better situational awareness. The Killer plays in first-person and is more focused on their prey."

Fun Fact: Several Glorious marketing team members are obsessed with Dead By Daylight. Recently, they could not resist picking up the new Resident Evil crossover content.

All with an easy to use system integrated with Steam Workshop. You can do anything you want in Tabletop Simulator. The possibilities are endless!"

Fun Fact: Our Staff Accountant highly recommends Tabletop Simulator. This game is truly a sandbox with limitless potential. Perhaps we get some team members together to stream this for a game night?

Horizon Zero Dawn

Fun Fact: Customer Service Manager cannot get enough of this love letter to Build-engine FPS games. "If Duke Nukem was a woman who's actually more badass than Duke himself."

Fun Fact: Our Creative Project Manager swears by this trilogy. A fan of horror, he says they are worth it for such an affordable price. For those with a PlayStation, he also recommends picking up Until Dawn!

Fun Fact: Our Community Manager and UX Specialist both recommended this game for the list! They noted that the art style is like if Tim Burton designed a survival horror game. What's better than that?
